NutriOne Terms of Use
Last updated: September 8, 2026
These terms govern use of the NutriOne mobile app, published by MediOne. By activating your account or using the app, you accept these terms and the NutriOne Privacy Policy.
The MediOne Terms of Service apply to the platform clinics use; they do not replace this document for the app.
1. What NutriOne is
NutriOne is a lifestyle and wellness app. It lets you:
- View the meal plan and portions your nutrition professional shares with you
- Log what you eat
- See appointments, wellness follow-up measurements, and your profile
The app is a digital companion. It is not a medical product, does not diagnose, does not treat, and does not issue clinical instructions on its own. Any plan or recommendation is defined by your professional, not by MediOne or the app.
2. Access
Access is by invitation only. Your professional invites you from MediOne; you activate the account and set a password.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password confidential
- Activity that occurs under your account
- Using the app only for your own lifestyle tracking
If you are no longer invited or you delete the account, access stops.
3. Deleting your account
You can delete your NutriOne account inside the app:
- Open Profile.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm Delete your account?
That closes access immediately: you cannot sign in until your professional sends a new invitation and you activate the account again. Previous invitations stop working. “Forgot password” is not enough to get back in.
Deleting the app account does not delete the file, plans, diary, appointments, or measurements your professional keeps at their practice. It closes the app account; it does not erase the practice’s follow-up history.
Details are in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for unlawful purposes
- Try to access another person’s account or data
- Interfere with the service or bypass the invitation
- Present NutriOne as a medical or diagnostic service
Food-diary entries and the profile photo you submit must be lawful and about you.
5. Content and photo
You may log meals and change or remove your photo from Profile. That information may appear in the file your professional uses, because it is the same follow-up record.
MediOne does not review entries meal by meal. You are responsible for what you log.
6. Price
NutriOne does not charge the patient a subscription inside the app. There are no in-app purchases in this version. The professional or practice uses MediOne separately.
7. Availability
The service is provided “as is.” There may be interruptions, errors, or feature changes. We do not guarantee a wellness, weight, or habit outcome.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by Costa Rican law, MediOne is not liable for:
- Decisions you make based on what you see in the app
- Loss of access if you delete the account or the invitation expires
- Interruptions, data loss on the device, or indirect damages
The nutritional coaching or accompaniment relationship is between you and your professional.
9. Intellectual property
The app, the NutriOne and MediOne brands, and the software belong to MediOne or its licensors. You obtain no rights beyond using the app under these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date on this page indicates the current version.
